Malaysians rallied behind the call for peace when about 200,000 participants from all walks of life turned up at the National Stadium Bukit Jalil to show the world that war is not an answer.
Even a downpour failed to dampen the spirit and enthusiasm of the people, from politicians to ordinary folks, who wanted to show how they felt about the impending war in Iraq. On T-shirts, banners placards and flags, and on everyone’s lip, the message was clear – Malaysians Want Peace.
CreatiVision was the main sponsor to bring Hacken Lee 李克勤, one of the most popular Hong Kong artistes, to perform in the once in a life time World Peace Concert in Malaysia.
