The 4th new year eve’s countdown celebration in Penang organized by CreatiVision.
About 100,000 revelers rocked to the beat at the ‘PG2009 Rock The Fort – The New Year’s Eve Countdown Concert” to ring in the New Year. The five-hour-non-stop live band performances was a reflection of the multiracial colors of Malaysia. The veteran rockers May was the first to take the stage while other group like The Villanz, Malito and Sofaz had the crowd stomping to the beat of ‘We Will Rock You’. However, the night belonged to the Queen of Rock, ELLA, who mesmerized her fans with her husky vocals coupled with trademark rock style.
Highlight of the night was the firework display which illuminated the sky with brilliant colors.
